Activist Deon Jenkins demanded $350,000 and 15-20 acres in land grants for every black Californian during a meeting of the Task Force to Study and Develop Reparation Proposals for African Americans at Oakland City Hall on Wednesday, ABC affiliate KRCR reported.
- “And unfortunately we all know what’s next,” Jenkins said in an interview after the task force meeting. “Either they’re going to comply or it’s going to be a serious backlash.”
